Bouteloua gracilis 'Blonde Ambition' is a cultivar of Blue Grama, a tufted warm-season grass native to Texas and throughout the western US. It's known for its seed-heads that hang from one side of its stem and look like mosquito larvae, giving it the common name of "Mosquito Grass". This perennial grass thrives in full sun and drought conditions making it perfect for our Texas summers.
