Seep Muhly, Muhlenbergia reverchonii, is a clumping grass native to Texas, Oklahoma, and into Mexico. This perennial forms dense clumps of old plant matter close to the base, the dry basal sheath forming curling tendrils. August through November this grass blooms with pinkish-beige seedheads. This grass is super adaptable to many climates as it is both heat and cold tolerant. Seep Muhly is drought tolerant while still being able to handle moist soil making it a great choice for the border of rain garden.
