Agave lophantha 'Spledida' is a clustering succulent with hardy green leaves marked by a variegated stripe down the center. This gives it the common name, Center Stripe Agave. Staying fairly small at 1-2 tall and wide, this agave makes a beautiful structural focal point in a drought tolerant garden. At maturity, this plant can send out a 12-foot flower stalk featuring many fragrant flowers that will attract hummingbirds.
